Avondale By The Sea Hotel Cape May, Cape May

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were huge and so clean, making my stay very pleasant. While the hotel was beautiful and clean overall, it was not suitable for a handicap person to even use the bathroom, which was a downside. The pool added a relaxing touch to the experience.

My stay at the hotel was incredible! The room was spacious and had almost everything we needed, although having no outlets near the bed was a bit inconvenient. It was neat and clean, which I really appreciated. The location was just perfect, being right by the beach and close to everything. The dining experience was nice with a good selection of cereals, pastries, coffee, and juices. Overall, a great value for money!

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. While the rooms were spacious, airy, well-lit with both natural and artificial light which I liked, the toilets left much to be desired as they were nasty, old, dirty, and had a noticeable smell of mold. Despite this, the rooms were always very clean and comfortable with plenty of hot water and towels, providing a cozy retreat after a long day. The service was friendly and prompt, making me feel welcomed and taken care of. The location was perfect for the jazz concert I attended, with easy access to shopping, restaurants, and the beach. However, the dining experience was a bit of a letdown, especially the lack of protein options and the recycled taste of the coffee served, even though the Italian coffee was decent. Overall, a generally satisfying stay with some areas for improvement.
